The Ethiopian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ambassador Meles Alem reported on Thursday that Ethiopia has opened its airspace to allow foreign countries to fly their citizens out of Sudan, and also that the government Ethiopia has so far granted 75 flight permits to 18 countries.
AngoAviação reported last month that international flights were passing “around” Sudanese airspace due to the ongoing coup d’état in that country.
