
Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique – LAM), whose management is now supported by the Fly Modern Ark (FMA) consultancy, is setting up teams in all areas of the state-owned company to work on its restructuring.
“Since April 18, the management of our flag carrier has been supported by an international consultant, FMA-Fly Modern Ark”, reads a statement released Friday by LAM, in line with the announcement made Tuesday by Minister of Transport, Mateus Magala.
Friday’s communiqué goes into more detail, underlining that the aim is to:
“restructure the company, improving its efficiency”.
“For this purpose, work teams are being formed in different areas in order to bring solutions for decision-making that add value to the company”, reads the document.
The teams will work
“on the development of measures focused on reducing costs, stabilizing operations and increasing revenues”, concludes the statement.
