
The President of the Republic of Angola, João Lourenço, assured that the new international airport, Agostinho Neto, will start operating from the end of 2023.
The guarantee on the airport located in the municipality of Icolo Bengo, in Luanda, was given on Saturday, December 3rd. João Lourenço spoke to the press after visiting the new international airport in Luanda to assess the progress of the works.
Until then, he explained, they will work on the rehabilitation of the physical works and to match the certificates that may have so that the airport can operate.
João Lourenço stressed that the new international airport will generate more revenue for companies and people, as well as the acceleration of access works to the new airport.
“The country will gain in terms of revenue and in terms of visibility, and Angola will become better known, due to this airport, becoming the main gateway to and from our country, making economic gains and tourism , particularly
