TAAG expands destinations in Europe with Iberia

TAAG – Angolan Airlines announced this Monday, November 21, the expansion of its network of destinations in Europe and domestic connections in Spain, connecting Luanda to multiple international destinations, with a stopover at Madrid Barajas Airport.

From now on, TAAG passengers will be able to travel to London (United Kingdom), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Rome and Milan (Italy), Geneva and Zurich, (Switzerland), Brussels (Belgium) and Porto (Portugal) through of the code-share regime with the Spanish company Iberia.

Domestic destinations in Spain are also included, namely the cities of Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Vigo, Malaga, Bilbao, Valencia and Seville.

The code-share regime allows a set of advantages to customers.

Passengers now have more fare options to choose from, wider access to Iberia destinations available in the system, purchase of a single ticket (for an itinerary on both companies) purchased in local currency and guarantee of protection on connecting flights.

The handling of issues such as flight reservations, check-in and baggage dispatch for trips with stopovers is also more agile and convenient for the passenger, within the code-share partnership regime.

Under the agreement between the two airlines, the route between Angola and the Spanish capital is operated by TAAG and the inter-European connections are carried out by Iberia.
