TAAG adjusts Schedule for Durban (South Africa) and Accra (Ghana)

TAAG – Linhas Aéreas de Angola informed this Tuesday, November 15th, that the new Luanda-Durban connection with a stop in Johannesburg (in the Republic of South Africa) is now available, at the same time announcing that the beginning of the Luanda-Accra operation (in Ghana) has been postponed to Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

The Angolan flag carrier considers that “after a reassessment of market conditions, adjustments were made to the most recent regional destinations of TAAG, namely Durban and Accra, having been a necessary exercise for the optimization of the network”.

The Luanda-Durban connection is already operational and is being carried out with a stopover in Johannesburg, with the route in South African territory being provided by a domestic partner operator. In a second phase, in the first quarter of 2023, flights will become direct from Luanda, operated exclusively by TAAG aircraft.

“The city of Durban, in South Africa, and Accra, in Ghana, are completely new destinations and reflect the growth and expansion of TAAG into markets with high demand and international traffic”, says the Angolan company in a statement distributed in Luanda.
