On the 25th of September, Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique canceled two flights due to the unavailability of two aircraft in its fleet that are undergoing repairs. The flights would take the Maputo-Beira-Maputo and Maputo-Quelimane-Maputo routes.
In a statement to which “AngoAviação” had access, the airline guaranteed that it had made efforts “to make the flights in question possible, but it was not successful” and explained that “interventions were taking place to repair the aircraft”.
The passengers affected by the measure “were transported the next day, at times that were established and communicated, through the rescheduling that was made”, assured LAM, which apologized to passengers for the inconvenience caused.
