One person died and two others were injured when an aircraft crashed on Thursday near Houston.
It happened in Tomball, in northwest Harris County, as reported by the US news agency KPRC.
The SR-22 single-engine fixed-wing aircraft was traveling from Tennessee and stopped to refuel in Louisiana. He was heading to Hooks Airport in the spring, but would have lost power just after 5pm.
The aircraft collided with a tree and then crashed between two mobile homes.
None of the residents of the houses were injured.
All occupants of the plane were taken to hospital for treatment. One was pronounced dead, the other two are stable, officials told KPRC.
