It happened in the United States of America.
In what could likely be classified as a single, mass form of sexual harassment, a passenger on a Southwest flight used the iPhone’s Airdrop feature to share nude photos with others on the plane. And the pilot was not happy about it.
If you’re not familiar with Apple’s Airdrop feature – it allows users to instantly send photos or other files to other Apple devices without using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection. Typically, the configuration can be shared with any Apple device that can “receive drops” from any Apple phone.
In a video that went viral, the pilot, who received some of these photos, can be heard threatening to change the course of the flight, saying he would return to the airport of departure. He sounds like an angry parent chastising his kids for whatever mess they’re causing in the backseat.
